- Gilberto Gil, the country's biggest pop star for the last 35 years, the singer-songwriter and guitarist in his office as Minister of culture. He was appointed at this responsability by the President-elected Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva last Jannuary. Brasilia, 24 June 2003.
