Approximately 50000 people walked through the streets of Florence toward the place of Santa Croce. In front of the podium installed opposite of the Basilica Santa Croce, representatives of political parties and group of trade union CGIL, CISL and UIL joined by catholic associations protested against the war and countered the arbitrary decision of Silvio Berlusconi to support the American government.

Carlos Lujàn back in Spain (Paris) [17.03.03]

Carlos Lujan returned to Valencia after having spent 5 months on our side. He was in France to carry out a project on the Asian community in the French capital. His pictures will be soon on his web site and a book is under development. he is currently working on a report in his city (Valencia) that we will present mid-April. Carlos, we miss you. Joder !

Re: St Patrick Parade / Steve Simon (New York) [16.03.03]

-Spectators lined up 10 deep along Fifth Avenue on Monday for a St. Patrick's Day Parade that was festive despite heightened security over the possible war with Iraq. The parade attract 150,000 marchers and was expected to draw 2 million spectators.
